Lord Lewellyn, British Ambassador to France, launched the Society of the Wallace Fountains, its website and guidebook at a magnificent reception held in the blue room of his historic private residence on the evening of 22 October.

Lord Lewellyn gave an introduction about the Wallace Fountains and the work of the Society. Guest, notable representatives from all the relevant French and British organizations and supporters of the Society and its work, enjoyed the hospitality of the Ambassador. A fun, 8-question, multiple-choice quiz about the fountains was conducted, with prizes for the winners. It was followed by a brief presentation on the importance of preserving and protecting the famous Wallace Fountains of Paris.

The Very successful event accomplished its mission of gaining the support and cooperation of those in Paris who can advance the mission of La Société des Fontaines Wallace.

Lord Llewellyn, ambassadeur de Grande-Bretagne en France, a annoncé le lancement de la Société des fontaines Wallace, son site Web et son guide lors d'une magnifique réception qui s'est déroulée dans la salle bleue de son historique résidence privée le 22 octobre au soir.

Lord Llewellyn a présenté les fontaines Wallace et le travail de la Société. Les invités, représentants notables de toutes les organisations françaises et britanniques concernées et soutiens de la Société et de ses travaux, ont apprécié l'hospitalité de l'ambassadeur. Un jeu-questionnaire amusant à 8 questions et à choix multiples sur les fontaines a été organisé et des prix ont été remis aux gagnants. Il a été suivi d'une brève présentation sur l'importance de préserver et de protéger les célèbres fontaines Wallace de Paris. Cet événement très réussi a accompli sa mission : gagner le soutien et la coopération de ceux qui, à Paris, peuvent faire avancer la mission de la Société des Fontaines Wallace.
